Gratitude

Gratitude is the feeling of thankfulness…..Happpy Thanksgiving…Today is a great opportunity to feel grateful, blessed,  &  appreciative….

Alfred Painter: “Saying thank you is more than good manners, It is good spirituality.”

Cicero: “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, But the parent of all the others.”

Henry Ward Beecher: “Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.”

J.F.K.: “As we express gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”

Marcel Proust: “Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.”

Margaret Cousins: ” Appreciation can make a day, even change a life, your willingness to put into words is all that is necessary.”

Meister Eckhardt:” If the only prayer you said in your whole life was “Thank you” that wouldsuffice.”

William James:” The deepest craving of human nature is the need to be appreciated.”

Last quote, but certainly not least, my personal favorite:

Brian Schaff:” Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step froward is a step toward achieving something bigger than your current situation”

I have found that prior to arising in the morning, just a few moments to pray, give gratitude and praise for all of my  blessings, manifests a more peace filled beginning, changing the course of my day in many positive ways!  May Thanksgiving day bring you a clearer vision of gratefulness.

Life is a gamble

Everyday we take our chances with the thougts we think, the words we speak, and the actions we take. Everyday is an opportunity to be dealt a new hand. We have the choice to change our thoughts and actions or to sit on what we have, take our chances with what we are holding.

If you find yourself holding negative thought patterns, remember, you daily commit to the spin of the wheel. Every bid of change you make toward positive thought processes, will bring you closer to a winning hand.

No matter how far down your losses are, be it financial, anxiety, depression, loneliness or dis-ease, you can change your luck, request new cards, and bet BIG on yourself!  Have confidence and faith in spirit, and your supernatural abilities to heal and to win!

Give yourself time to mourn your losses, forgive, and let go. When you bust, recoop your losses by giving yourself a new perspective of your next hand. Know that you are human. Pamper, pray, and praise self. Give yourself over to the next roll of the dice, your true authentic self…Invision triple cherries, a straight flush, 21!  Win the jackpot!!!

The prize: A positive, relaxing, grateful, peacefilled, giving, loving, new you!!

And so it is…..
